i assume you mean you want a callback inside a kernel module to be
invoked? not something to be done in user mode, right? cause that's
internally impossible...

since we established that you do that in a kernel module, the the proper
method is by placing the function pointer as a task, and place this task
in the 'tq_scheduler' task queue.
