        Is it mean the total size of data transported at a time.
Some manufactures refer as switching fabric interms of Gbps.

If I am having a 24 port 10/100Mbps full duplex ethernet switch. 
Theoretical limit is 4.8Gbps in full duplex. Is it what the switching 
fabric value mean?
