Sendmail on freshly installed RH71 (2 machines) does not respond to
connections:
telnet MYIP 25 - Unable connect to host: connection refused.
telnet 127.0.0.1 25 - getting a prompt.
I don't have either ipchains/iptables active nor start sendmail through
xinetd.
netstat -nl:
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0* LISTEN
nmap does not shows port 25 open
I do have resolving for my hostname through /etc/hosts.
I even put a RELAY entry for my IP in /etc/mail/access file, though it is
not related.
It seems to me to be some firewalling problem, but i can not find any sign
of firewalling on my system....
Any assistance would be appriciated,
