The KOrganizer (not KMail) documentation refers to plans of making it
real groupware scheduler. Whether or not that was cancelled or not I
have no idea. I have no inside track into KOffice, I was only
referring to the documentation that came with KDE 2.1.1.

I didn't say it was. I don't think it is. I don't matter. I asked
whether M$ considered it illegal.

That's a point that can be argued. They can just force everybody to
upgrade. You may argue that they can't. Only they will decide.
