Just in case anyone occured problems resizing / changing to full-screen on their bttv-based TV card since a kernel update lately... Kernel 2.4.4 and higher attempt to disable optimized CPU-to-PCI transfers on certain VIA chipsets, suspecting it causes data corruption. Later, they've found out that the only affected models could be fixed with a BIOS upgrade. Anyhow, this "fixups" slows down the PCI bus and makes it too slow to transfer the TV image in 32bpp. So, if anyone is having such problems since the 2.4.4 upgrade, comment the lines from arch/i386/kernel/pci-pc.c relating to pci_fixup_via691 and pci_fixup_via691_2.
