If you were to set up a looooong download, or use it for web hosting, etc, you would find that over the period of a day, your DOWNLOAD throughput would average out to 256kbps. This is pretty good as people on this list have said they get closer to 64k. Now note that the UPLOAD bandwith is already limited to 64k, and quite likley would be less than that.
