> A. The first brought the "scoop" (a close announcement from RH).
Got this "scoop" 2 weeks ago on slashdot submissions. It was rejected since we only annouce release version (or first beta) > And then two "add-on" parts relating to the first one, and looking for > somebody to *EITHER*: > > B. compare the new releases. No resources. I have now the ISO images of Mandrake 8.1 but I need a new hard drive to install this, and since I'm looking for a job, hard disk buy is way low in my priorities. Other slashdot authors are using Debian (one of them is using Mandrake) > C. tell slashdot about the close announcement. > The mirrors are having it for 2 days already - we're waiting for the official announcment. > Of course, (C) was a joke; Slashdot is not a source for scoops > anymore, but only a collection of links to scoops of others. > And since no official source announced 7.2, there is no chance to see > it in Slashdot. Do you think slashdot got the money for a full news service? no. What we do however is checking the news, rumors, asking for comments (try to get a quick respond from Intel or MS and see what I mean) for stories, maintaining the backslash and slashdot, as well slashcode... -- Hetz Ben Hamo [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
