Hi! I recently backed up my system and then completely wiped it during repartitiong. (I had Win 2k + Win 98 + SuSE 7.1). Partition Magic V6.0 on a 30Gb disk blew up. All I did was install a minimal system from the distro (took about half an hour) and then did a restore from the backup. Full recovery, first shot.
