YA Project Idea of mine: create a cross-platform implementation of the
game Freecell, which will have all the features common in the most
powerful implementations of it. (e.g: FC-Pro, PySol)

The Software Lab of the EE faculty (of which I am a student) said it can
only accept this project assuming I find a suitable supervisor. So I'm
asking this list for assistance: if you are suitable for being a
supervisor or know someone who wishes to be, please let me know. Note that
he need not necessarily be a staff memeber of the EE faculty, but can be
from other faculties. There is not a guarantee that the Lab would accept
him, but it's worth a try.

The reason I'd like to take this project is that all the other Freecell
implementations I encountered are either:

1. Badly written.
2. Not truly cross-platform.
3. Require installation of other subsystems (as is the case with PySol and
Python).
4. Not complete enough to be effective.

I refer you to a post made to the Freecell Solver mailing list by Bob
Gorman:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fc-solve-discuss/message/173

He claims there Freecell can be of great use to helping people with
learning disabilities and would like to add some cognitive features to
Freecell. These features would be one of the top priorities of my
implementation.
