To the poster of the original question (please use a better nick) I can give you an example: I bought a new PC, and installed several windows on it: win2k, win98 and winxp. Win98 was the best installed but the speed in which it got sticked was mesured in HZ, (about 0.001 hz). Win2k: the printer did not work. The TV card's programs sucks and kills on full screen. winxp, just the TV card does not work.
Linux: to move it to the new PC, I just changed lilo and booted. The TV card works OK, actually the best (win98 is better but I hope it will change soon), I can even use the control remote (from the TV card to control xmms, winamp for linux). I can even shut down the computer from it if I want. I just cannt hebrew that well. I will change until april when gnome2 will be out and kde3 will be out too. - diego > Windows sucks, Linux rocks!
