Try to install Lindows while setting the guest OS to "other" (since setting it to Guest OS to "Linux" crashes it when installing Lindows) - you'll get a total freeze of your machine - only reset helps. But yes, the Wine approach is not secure enough - you can run Outlook 2000 with their wine, and gets tons of viruses which will work nicely, but you can't (yet) install any known Anti virus.. which means it's still a problem - but thats the same as win4lin - in both cases you can kill the app...
