As far as I know (and use ;) Legato Networker is quite a long time on
the market and is doing well. I work with Legato and Exabyte changer and
pretty satisfied. Although I back up Linux machines only (M$ users keep
their critical files on samba shares on the server, which gets backed up
everyday). And yes, restores work ;)

--> For all who came from Solaris, AIX and (umm) HP/UX - Veritas has
--> announced
--> that their "VERITAS Foundation Suite" will be available soon for
--> Linux...
-->
--> Of course - Legato also released something for Linux (yeah, a backup
--> solution
--> if you work on IBM DB/2 and want to backup your big beast)...

(for
--> this
--> case - lets say Solaris) - which backup program (based on YOUR
--> experience) is
--> better?
