I was thinking in terms of reading my mail off a server belonging to
an ISP, hopefully not sleazy, but I am paranoid. So I POP my mail to
my own Internet-connected machine, which I trust much more.

As for a company server (speaking in generalities), I'll mark the day
when I decide to trust it.

Yes, I am paranoid. And yes, they are out there to get me. ;-)
