I am not looking at the HOWTO at the moment. Have you checked "man
cdparanoia"? I don't think I do more than "cdparanoia 2-4" (to rip
tracks 2 to 4) or sth of the kind (my .bash_history is on my home
computer - can't check right now).
I certainly don't know more than the documentation provides. RTFM.
