Any way to change navigator.appName? Any idea what will this break?

Another alternative is to disable javascript.

Unfortunetly mozilla does not allow you to selectively disable javascript
for several sites. Disabling and enabling javascript in Mozilla requires
going to the preferences (in galeon it is simpler, I believe). Also note
that javascript is required for several features of the site.

I wrote there (through the feedback form, once with lynx, and once with
mozilla, after disabling javascript). In both cases I was replied by Einat
Sason <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> . And generally she wrote that they
develop the site foor MSIE alone due to its high market share. She did
not respppond to the simple question of why they actively prevent
mozilla-based browsers (and I guess that she has not heard about
konqueror).

Ironically on some platforms (mac and some unix platforms) MSIE is
available but does not have proper Hebrew support, so by doing that they
also neglect the Mac users (I believe).

BTW: for the basic search features, even lynx (in the appropriate
terminal) will do.

One thing that can be done:

create yp-mozilla.some-domain.org.il . This server will run a proxy whose
sole manipulation would be to strip those two lines. I'm not sure exactly
how it can be done but it probably can be done securly (given some time,
some server resources and "some" bandwidth, in case it gets slashdotted or
something similar). I wonder what will their response be.

<Off-Topic>
Speaking of mozilla:

If anybody is looking for a lightweight mozilla-based browser for win32,
try k-meleon (http://kmeleon.sf.net) . Requires some manual configuration
and a bit of twaeking, but useful if you have a resource-lacking computer.
I managed to make something useful with it from a P133/16MB/W95 (read the
faq when you encounter a problems. The support forum's search is also
helpful)
