Up to apply position, it's easy indeed. However, applying RPMs is not so
easy if you think about various problems that can happen on the way,
including dependency changes, new configs, problems with older packages,
etc. etc. I have yet to see a tool that could work without manual guidance
on a non-vanilla (i.e., not just 'install vanilla RH x.y and never do
anything but automatic upgrades) system. Even on mostly-vanilla ones there
are certain problems.
