Since this was the first time I tried it. Seeing it works, I posted.
As I said, I only used (for myself) mke2fs -j, not tune2fs (until
I tried it today before posting).

Sorry for not following all the thread: Is fat->ext2 available?
Unless it is, I think writing one is a lot of work. If you refer
to someone's (was it Marc the terrible :-) ?) suggestion to
copy and copy back, then I completely agree with him, and therefore
didn't reply then, but I wouldn't call that "conversion".
