Hmm, the last discussion about bidi fonts, reminded me something...

After successfully installing the bidi package + other misc. rpm's I needed
the hebrew fonts,
so I went to my win partition copied them to a TrueType (I chose
"/usr/share/fonts/TrueType")
directory, created fonts.dir and appended the directory pathname to the end
of the fonts' path list.

After runing openoffice and the command to use both shifts as a layout
switcher it all was great,
the fonts and everything, well after a while when I logined to my account I
tried to run OpenOffice
again, but this time the fonts was there, but I saw blank.

In the attached OO_readme.html file (I think,) it was written that only the
non-bidi version had this
problem. Well my rpm is named with a *bidi* in its name.

Any Ideas ?

BTW couple of months later I tried to install the fonts again, but the
problem appeared again...
