Hi People, The last few days had some updates to KDE 3.1 CVS which, if you compile KDE, should make you (a bit more) happy.
* I have talked to lars about some bugs in Konqueror regarding Hebrew support, and he promised to make efforts to fix those bugs before KDE 3.0.3 (yes, there will be 3.0.3) will be out. Those fixes will be (of course) in KDE 3.1 as well.. * Java based chats - so far the only way to chat with sites like IOL, Tapuz and Nana was with Netscape 4.x, as none of the browsers on Linux was working with those chats. I'm happy to announce that now you can use Nana and IOL chats (there are some focus problems which I intend to talk to the Java embedding maintainer about them). Unfortunately, mozilla still doesn't run any of them (I tried on 1.0 with both IBM's and Sun's latest JRE). * URL's - There was a bug in KDE's URL handling which translating Hebrew letters to ISO 8859-1 instead of UTF. Thanks to the KURL maintainer - it's been fixed and some web sites who uses this method (Tapuz for example) works with it. Thanks, Hetz (the unemployed guy who desperately looking for any job related to computers!) ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
