I, OTOH , thinks that the article (besides being a very good
introduction to the concept of open source) does not make it clear
enough that 'commercial' software must never be copied w/o the explicit
premission of the copyright holder. except for the last paragraph the
article expands on the virtues of sharing software with friends, w/o
making a clear enough distinction that we are not talking about
commercial software at all. it might not seem that way at first - but
ask a person who's not familiar with the fine concepts of software, what
we like to call "computer illitirate" and you'll see what I mean.
Moshe's suggestion makes it even worse : If you portray the commercial
software companies as evil, you make it sound more righteous to illegaly
copy the software they create.
