If your text already has some alignment set (that is, it doesn't use the default alignment), then the left/right alignment would stay as it was, but the BiDi directionality would change -- e.g. in RTL mode, English words won't break the Hebrew text, the punctuation would follow to the left of the text. If it doesn't have any alignment set, then naturally the BiDi directionality will affect the alignment as well. BTW, I've updated the tarball few minutes ago, with improved installation instructions.
