Does someone have experience on installing dynamic DNS + dhcpd with Linux
(specifically, Redhat, but I guess it doesn't matter much).

The situation is as follows:

I have dhcpd (on Linux), which knows about dynamic DNS and can update DNS
server. It does it OK for windows clients (i.e., dhcpd.leases has
ddns-fwd-name and ddns-rev-name options, and all adresses are resolved
back and foreth OK). But when I try with Linux client, the address is OK,
everything is OK, but no dynamic DNS - no ddns-* options in lease. Maybe I
need to configure it somewhere on client side? If so, where? On *BSD,
there is dhclient.conf, where I define options of hdcp client - and it
works too - but I cannot find such options for linux (setting client name
just sets it, but no DDNS) - at least not for RH standarrd clients dhcpcd
and pump. Does this mean they don't support dynamic DNS (if so, do you
know a client for Linux that does?) or I just overlook something?

Thanks in advance for any info,
