I think it's safe to say I wouldn't dare "assuming" things on a public

I guess you are not using them in the manner a large enterprise like TAU
uses it.

I actually run RedHat, and TAU is RedHat all across the board, from users
workstations to Linux servers. I just don't like their kernel distribution
trees that *come with the releases*. Yes, a few months later they release
much stabler kernels for that said release, but this is not how it is
supposed to be.

Well, I would like to learn a great deal from Linus, but manners is not
