first, from what I remember of fetchmail (only from reading the Cathedral and the bazaar once) it delivers locally with the local sendmail/smail/exim/qmail/whatnot and not directly. filtering can be done in one place with procmail or Ephraim's excellent mailfilter (If you like perlish regexps). finally, to have both mutt/pine/kmail/evolution read the same filtered mailbox, or maybe even an IMP webmail front, you access those directories via IMAP, and save the headache of synchronising all the mailboxes viewed from different hosts/MUAs. -- A familiar face in a strange land Ira Abramov http://ira.abramov.org/email/ This post is encrypted twice with ROT-13.
