as my friend Blumzi says "Journaling just happend to get implemented on
the way to the makolet"

in the meantime it's been very good at getting him funding from SuSE,
mp3.com and others, and doesn't steer him off course, so I think it's
kosher and good.

indeed, he's going to speak about it at SVLUG in November. I hope they
publish the slides and DiVX of the lecture, or at least mp3.
