Hello list.
sorry if this question is trivial - I
could not find the solution.
Here is the situation:
I have a number of people (lets say 10),
each one have a Linux with its root fs
mounted on NFS.
Most of content of this fs is the same,
only one directory differs.
The quick and ugly solution will be to
create 10 huge root filesystems on NFS
server that are almost identical and
differ only by one small directory.
How can I make all users to share the same
common set of files ? Soft links did not
helped me and hard links I'm from some
reason I'm not permitted to create (even
when I try as root).
Thanks, Michael.
