My kidsThis is one thing that I never understood- word can read a wide variety of Hebrew document formats, so why insist on the files being submitted as doc?
(all 10 of them) had to submit a portion of their homework assignments in
doc format (Gush Etzion school system) for the past four years. My wife
is in a masters program at Touro College and Beit Morasha where the
homework assignments are distributed in Word and the homework must be
submitted in Word. I suggest that you actually go try to talk to these
people about Linux and see what happens.
I admit to a few cases where I "cheated" and sent documents as RTF. In many cases, the recipient had no idea about the difference (as rtf files where associated with word as well).
