i am trying to use X on and ibm T-30.
if i start the X when no monitor is connected. i get the resolution I
wanted - 1400x1050 ( the resolution of the LCD)
if i connect the monitor, and try to start the X display, it will only
let me 640x480 mode. (doesn't matter even if i tell the laptop to
display only on the lcd and not on the monitor).
the monitor is capable of 1600x1200, and 120hz vert refresh (and that
whats written on XF86CONFIG-4).
any idea ?
note: windows also does not let me use 1400x1050 on this monitor, but at
lease 1280x1024 works, and not 640x480 as in linux.
the display is hyundai dualscan 9695 19"
