FYI: a recent thread on the linux-elitists mailing list recently
discussed "Linux for Grandfathers" and caused one of the partcipants to
conduct a non formal survey of a completly non representative group of
grandfathers and grandmothers and came up with the following results:

1. Most of the people "interviewed" were computer literate to some
degree, from avid users of AOL up till retired programmers.

2. A couple of the grandpeople (gah! :-) asked knew Linux, two were
regular Linux users to several degrees and one grandmother was the
treasurer of her local LUG(!).

3. A surprising majority of tghe grandpeople did not wanted Linux
instealled on their computers - they prefered to do it on their own...

Sure, the fact that linux-elitist is a little bit Sillicon Valley
centric has something to do with the results but it only serves to prove
that it's NOT the age, it's the person. I suggest "Linux for
computerly-challanged"... :-)

Well, I think it only proves Ira's point further that the domain owner
is Ira hostile... <duck and runs> :-)
