This is probably getting OT, but I'll take this opportunity to ask: anyone know where I can get a low-end usb sound card? There are several on the market in the 40-50 $ range (fex. Xitel HiFi Link, Griffin iMic, etc) but I haven't been able to find a single one in Israel, only the really costly ones like the Extigy, which have lots of features I can't use anyway. Ordering from abroad would effectually give me no warranty, plus the shipping costs too much... On the topic of gifts & trade, I've got the usual assorted junk collection :-) - - old 386s and P1s and parts of all kinds - old EDO modules, lots of ancient sound cards, cdroms... I suppose noone wants that kind of stuff because we all have our own doorstops already :-) There's also a case + super socket7 m/b (VIA chipset; don't have it handy to lookup the exact model) that worked with a k6-2/500 before it (the processor) died, with 224mb sdram (in 3 modules) and an nvidia tnt2-class agp card. If someone has a processor to make a full system out of it again, I'm open for trade (of either giving me the processor :-), or taking away the system). Finally there's a friend of mine who wants a k6-III for sentimental reasons, but says the shop prices are too tall.
