I am hoping that sometime in the near future we will complete the processes required to accepting money from people, which will allow us to know where we stand. At the moment, the rough budget estimate I gave VAT stands on an annual budget of 5000NIS (which translates to 50 people paying an anual fee of 100NIS each). Subtract expanses from that (not many of those, as there are no salaries to pay, but you still need to buy some of the required stuff, such as the recipts and so on), let's assume that's 3000 NIS left (registering the Amuta alone costed money, which Doron Ofek paid from his own pocket).Hi, One interesting activity that Ha'Makor might want to sponsor is a Google AdWord campaign to push our interests (for example, a search for website building tools or firms should have an ad for standards supporting firms and tools). This activity is very inexpensive ($0.05 per click) and might push awareness where it really matters. What do you think?

The reason I am telling you all this is twofold. First - you need to understand the budget constrains we work with. If we start activity and find out that our budget is much larger than that, great. There is no upper bound. Believe me, if you give me a million dollars a year, I can still spend it all on NPO activities. If you give me 57Billion $, for example, I'll buy Microsoft and release all the code there under the GPL `-). Second - if people want expansive activities (or even money costing activities at all) done, they have to ask themselves whether they can find the sponsorship for such activities.
Money donors may directly influence the Amuta's activities directly, BTW. You can give money to an NPO and condition/dedicate the money with a certain activity. So long as the activity is within the charter of the bylaws of the NPO, and there are no financial beneficiaries from it, the NPO (board) can choose to accept or reject the money.
