I happen to have the same problem just with IMPS/2 (I have a USB Inteli
Mouse explorer mouse). When I put it on PS/2 it just goes crazy in one
of the screen's corner. No wheel.

When I ran 'kudzu' it just made it worst.

When I had RH it automatically recognized the wheel but now in Debian
I can't make it work.

Googling returned nothing but people using YaxisZaxis to use the side
buttons as down/up wheel.
