The Gentoo ebuild references http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html - there's a download and a license file there. Gentoo isn't allowed to mirror the jdk archive or to download it from sun's site automatically, and has to tell users to download it manually from that page. Presumably redhat bought a license to redistribute the archive with their CDs. AFAICS you need to agree to the license to download, but there's nothing about registration. - -- Dan Armak Matan, Israel Public GPG key: http://www.gentoo.org/~danarmak/danarmak-gpg-public.key -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+eEHQUI2RQ41fiVERAlljAJ9bLdS/oS7HwcaYHC2wYBPFbvyqcgCdFYlc 7uRSZ7GnMmebf8Yo0Lttkl0= =uvpz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
