The strange thing is that the main non-standard thing in the site is the Flash, which seems to be installed right both on my mozilla and konqueror...

I thought Lindows was still vapourware - looking at their site, turns out it's well out already. I must applaud their "Click-N-Run Warehouse" and their "lifetime family licensing" - very smart moves. A nice twist is that of all the migration options they mention on the site, all way of coexistance with windows applications are not recommened, especially WINE (even though they sponsor WINE[-related] development) - they really want people to forget about windows and replace MS Office. Without being afraid of format incompatibilities here and there, they actively push customers into linux applications: http://info.lindows.com/migration/ Of course, they are playing into their own pocket - but also into FS/OS's success... Double cool that it comes with Hebrew support - I presume they did verify that this support mostly works ;-). > n.b. The ad doesn't say a word about "Linux". Just "Legal operating > system - Lindows". > Of course, it's a shame Lindows doesn't have some big "thanks to GNU/Linux for making this possible" all over their site but it's not too deeply buried either... BTW, are any companies selling linux-preinstalled computer in Israel? I mean some linux that is not freedom-subtracted? -- Beni Cherniavsky <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> If I don't code for myself, who will?
