Hi,Hmm,
I'm currently evaluating CX office, and I'm liking what I'm seeing.
However, there's one thing that really bugs me. I can run Word with a Hebrew locale (he_IL.UTF-8), and it writes Hebrew perfectly, while writing English poorly (it's stuck in "Hebrew" mode).
I couldn't even get this far. I'm using a later (prerelease) version of XOO, and I can't seem to place my finger on where it came from.
I can run it with the "C" locale, and it writes English perfectly, but Hebrew poorly. Can you do two tests for me, please?
In each of those, I see Word's "HE" or "EN" sign in the menu, but I can't switch from one to the other.
Does anyone know how I can solve this?
Run "~/cxoffice/bin/wine --debugmsg +keyboard notepad", with both locales, and send me the last 40 lines of output in both cases? Try typing a few characters and send me the console output of them as well (and switch keyboards).
Also, while in notepad, please select the menu "Help/Info/About Wine". Let me know if the text says "Notepad" or "notepad" and "wine". Also (though I doubt this will test will fail), scroll down the list of authors (it's sorted alphabetically according to last name), and check whether my name is there. Last, let me know if the menu has "File Edit Search Help", or "File Edit Format Help". Also, when using LANG set to Hebrew, whether the menu is in English or Nordsk.
