Hi!
On my Linux hard-disk I have two reiserfs partitions and a swap partition.
Recently, the first partition started causing noises of bad blocks when I
used it. It came into being that ls'ing /usr/lib caused it to emit various
bad hard-disk errors.
I switched the root filesystem to the second partition. Now everything
works fine. However, when I tried to diagnose the bad partition using
badblocks (-n -s), I did not find any bad blocks and now all of a sudden
/usr/lib is fine again.
What can I do to find where the faults are?
Regards,
Shlomi Fish
