How should one design an OS abstraction layer, if one wants to have
high-quality OS abstraction layer by whatever criteria used to measure the
quality of those leaky abstraction implementations?
This discussion is due to a thread which stared in the Linux-IL mailing
list. But it is not relevant to Linux anymore. Can we continue
