Don't be naive, this is just orchestrated:
- In the short run -- push Win-2003 server (note how
it is mentioned that this + Lookout 2003 would magically "solve"
these problems.
- In the long run -- This is part of the push for "security"
via DRM (Digitally Restricting your Mind). Again note the
hint about the payed-for "stamps" -- What he talks about is
a combination of Passport + Paladium == All Internet access
is authenticated with MS and controlled by MS.
Of course the bigger perspective is the real risk -- spread the news
Billie isn't suddenly worried about your spam, he is after a much
bigger target...
