Shunra's WAN emulation technology recreates the production network by altering the speed at which data packets traverse the LAN, and the quality of the LAN. For example, a fast Ethernet link that connects a PC to a server located in an office down the hallway can be converted, using WAN emulation technology, into a 56 Kbps dial-up link connecting the PC to a data center across the Atlantic Ocean through a myriad of N-tier ISPs. Using this technology, development, testing and networking teams can the evaluate performance of software applications as they communicate with the production servers and end-user desktops, over this accurate emulated production WAN Shaul Frenkel VP Research & Development Shunra Software Ltd. http://www.shunra.com ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
