Once the realplayer8 worked well for me, but now when I've reinstalled my redhat 8, id dosn't work anymore. I have the bin file downloaded from the realplayer site. After I installed it in /usr/local/Realplayer8, I encounter strange problems when trying to exectute artsdsp ./realplay 1)if i am root, then the following message appears: /tmp/mcop-alexrait is not owned by user 2)otherwise if I login as a user, the realplayer works for about 0.01 seconds and then gets stuck. Can anyone help me with this please I have redhat 8, KDE. Thanx to everyone Alex.
