AFAIK There are _two_ clocks, the hardware clock(aka rtc, or real time clock), and the system, or software clock.my KDE Clock applet reads 11:29 Aruzei Zahav Digital clock reads 11:47 output from hwclock reads 11:47
Which means the problem lies with the KDE applet....
hwclock manipulates the former, and syncs between system clock and the rtc, the system clock may be manipulated by "date" (do man date and man hwclock for futher details).
