Under 4.3, the IL keyboard contains only the Hebrew keyboard. If you want a functionality equivalent to that of 4.2, you need to define your keyboard as US,IL.I just upgraded my system to xfree86 4.3 Under 4.2 when I configure the keyboard to il and group switch to the two shift keys together, when pressing the two shift keys I would get an hebrew keyboard and the scroll lock led would light up. Under 4.3 I the scroll lock led still lights up the same but the keyboard is stuck in hebrew mode. I don't have the ability to change between hebrew and english this way. I managed to get it working using gnome's intl' keyboard applet, but I would rather the job was done by X as it is more portable, and one less program running in the background. Also I like the scroll lock led behavior. Any way to get the old functionality back?
Thanx
