It was a cheerful event, I learned a few new things, and there was something for everybody - I met a friend from the military who is a beginner and was interested in the philosophical side and an overview - and she got that. I saw someone who got his computer installed at the instaparty. There were intermediate and advanced lectures. There was even a raffle for (relevant) free stuff at the end. The organization was not bad (except that some lecturers did not keep within their time limits...), lot's of caffeinated drinks and cookies, and even more females than the usual present (I always count heads...). And the presentations I saw were all done on Linux in OpenOffice.
The only problem was that there seemed to be not enough room for all those who wanted to come, and even those who registered didn't always have seats in the popular lectures.
Very enjoyable!
