  You are right. I misunderstood your intention. I believe the 
maintainers of the mirror are following the public list and that they
are doing so out of general interest, not to catch messages like mine.
However you are absolutely right: sending such messages also to their
mail boxes is a better approach in making sure that the problem will be
dealt with as soon as possible.
