Indeed.

Some background is due: the linux.org.il domain has been purchased and owned
by Jonathan Ben Avraham for the purpose of serving the community and he chose
to direct it to the IGLU web site.

Jonatan was generous enough to donate the ownership of the domain to HaMakor
under the condition that it will be used in accordance of HaMakor goals. As
such, we consider ourselves to be stewreds (נאמנים) of this domain for the
community.

We (Hamakor board) believe that the domain will better serve the community as
a general "portal" to Israeli Linux web resources, both Hebrew and otherwise
(including IGLU, of course, but also the pengiun, whatsup, linux.israel.net,
Haifux, TAUX, Perl/Python resources, various Linux forums, Hamakor and so
forth), rather then a simple redirect to IGLU as it is now.

Note that this is our opinion - not a decision, right now. If someone thinks
that this is bad idea, please speak up. If someone has other ideas what to do
with the domain *and is willing to implement them*, please speak up. In
short, we're looking for feedback, but most important - for active help.

Cheers,
Gilad
