I called Actcom. It appears they moved a computer right below our beak, and that triggered the reboot that was followed by the disk not being recognized. I've asked them to remove and readd the disks, and viola! Both disks are now working.
Can't say I'm thrilled about what just happened, but at least we are now back online.

Subject: debian on mirror.hamakor.org.il missing?
I tried the debian update today from mirror.hamakor.org.il and I got a 404 error. I also tried on the site through mozilla. Is it just for update or was the debian mirror removed?
The problem is a hard disk failure. No more, no less. Due to the fact that the system itself boots off a Raid-1 partition, the system still boots ok. I'm afraid that we have lost all the mirrors. It is extremely unlikely that we will have a new disk before Sunday, and therefor we will probably only have the mirrors back up by Tuesday or Wensday, at the earliest. It takes time to sync 120GB of data.
As such, I'm afraid that Oleg is being a little optimistic when he says that things will get back to normal real soon now.
