You remind me of all those surveys that say that 99.99% of companies
go under just because they disappear from view :-). Some of them are
actually pretty successful in terms of "exit". Cygnus was bought by
Red hat a few years ago. 

I use cygwin almost every time I switch to Windows and do more than
open a single ppt file... In fact, cygwin will probably outlive Red
Hat Linux. ;-)
