Hi, I have a strange problem on my new MDK9.2 system. Sometimes, when I try to connect to a host (via ssh, ping, etc.) I get the error in the subject. It seems to work out by itself or by restarting the network. Also, the error does not occur when using loopback.
This is what I see in the logs when I restart the network: 15:54:46 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: Using interface eth0/00:0C:6E:83:39:23 with driver <sis900> (version: v1.08.06 9/24/2002) 15:54:46 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: Using detection mode: SIOCGMIIPHY 15:54:46 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: ifplugd 0.15 successfully initialized, link beat not detected. 15:54:46 network: Bringing up interface eth0: failed 15:54:48 kernel: eth0: Media Link On 100mbps full-duplex 15:54:48 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: Link beat detected. 15:54:49 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: Executing '/etc/ifplugd/ifplugd.action eth0 up'. 15:54:51 ifplugd(eth0)[1953]: Program executed successfully.
