I have checked the Config menu and the kmailrc file under ~/.kde and found no 
way to do that...

Checked the Shortcuts menu - no event to assign a key to for that.

For that you can install a small utility called KShowMail (find it in 
http://www.rpmfind.net). This prog sits in the task bar, checks your e-mail 
box every once in a while and brings on ly the headers. Then you decide if 
you want to delete from server or retrieve it to your computer. This way you 
can get rid of SPAM....
