You don't have to upgrade anything on this modem to use it as a router. You just configure it properly through its internal web interface (192.168.1.1). Just be carefull that if you change the internal eth interface address to remember what you changed it to or you will have trouble reconnecting. I am not sure if you will be able to get any support from bezeq on it though, so you will probably be on your own (maybe the official bezeq technition will do it for you for about 200 NIS). For the alcatel you need to get an unofficial firmware upgrade, which if goes wrong can require special hardware to fix. > Thanks, > -- > Didi > > > ================================================================= > To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with > the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command > echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] > ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
